aeRO2 is run by three levels of staff. 'Gamemasters', 'SubGamemasters', and 'aeRO2 Staff'. Each level of staff has its own set of responsibilities and ingame power. Within each level of staff there are also individuals assigned to specific jobs that help keep aeRO2 running the way it is. If, at any point in time, you need to approach a member of staff regarding an issue on aeRO2, please refer to this page to ensure you approach the right staff.

Gamemasters, or GMs, have power accross all aspects of aeRO2. They have ingame power on all servers (Charm, Mayaan, Nocturna, Primal) as well as on IRC, Ventrilo, and the forums. GMs have the power to ban, or give out punishments. They are also the ones to approach for individual character problems that MUST be solved ingame. Official aeRO2 Events are generally run and organized by GMs. GMs are the core staff that keep aeRO2 running.
SubGMs are similar to full GMs, but have less ingame powers. They are still capable of running events, banning, and helping your charater ingame, but there may be things they cannot do. SubGMs have full power on IRC, and Ventrilo, but slightly restricted power on the forums.
aeRO2 Staff members are the people that help take the load off the GMs and subGMs by offering support and help via IRC, and Forums. They are generally the people to approach first if you have issues concerning aeRO2. If they cannot help you, they will direct you to someone who can. While aeRO2 Staff members have limited power, they do have forum powers and help moderate the forums. Please give aeRO2 staff the same amount of respect you would to a GM - punishments can and will be given to those who disrespect staff members.
